How do my people and named days sync between devices? +

Life Tally keeps your people and events in sync through your own private iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple Account on your iPhone and iPad, with iCloud on, and it syncs by itself; there's no Life Tally account to create. Your named days are worked out on each device from those dates.

Why does Life Tally ask for Photos access? +

To show your children side by side at the same age, to show your photos from this day in past years, and to add profile photos. All are optional, and your photos are never sent to us. A keepsake you save is added to your library as one new image. You can change access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Life Tally.

Why does it ask for Contacts access? +

With your permission, Life Tally imports the names, birthdays and photos of the people you pick from Contacts, so you don't type them by hand. It reads nothing else from a contact. What you import stays on your phone and in your private iCloud. You can turn access off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts → Life Tally.

Will Life Tally tell me when a named day lands? +

Yes. With notifications on, Life Tally sends a push at 7 AM on the morning a birthday or a milestone lands for you or anyone you count with, and Today's Tally can send one fact about your life each morning. Turn either on or off from the gear on any tab, then Notifications.

How do I delete my data? +

Your data lives on your devices and in your own iCloud, not on our servers. Delete a person or event in the app to remove it everywhere, or remove everything from iCloud in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Life Tally. We have no copy to delete on your behalf.

How do I report a bug or request a feature? +

Email [email protected], or tap the gear on any tab, then Help, then Write to us: that mail carries your app version, iOS version and iPhone model. Every message is read. For a bug, a screenshot or a screen recording helps.
